BlackBerry Too Joins the Race Of iPhones By Launching STORM !!
BlackBerry too preparing to give a strong competition to Apple`s iPhone 3G and T-Mobile`s G1(Google Phone).
Though this has not been officially declared about the launch of BlackBerry`s Storm, but the news has been leaked alongwith the pictures of all new Storm. But it seems clear that Storm would be a direct competition to Apple`s iPhone 3G and T-Mobile G1(Google Phone). The phone seems to have new jazzy design and an application filled with games and other various add-on programs and applications.
The most exciting part of BlackBerry`s Storm which has built its reputation as secure and reliable for corporate types, but it might also try to build an image of being real and exciting too. BlackBerry would also allow users to add applications such as Facebook, a game of Black Jack and a GPS navigation program. The programs can be downloaded through a in-built browser, though not very clear if the App Center would be accessible by other older mod
els of BlackBerry. Storm is expected to run on Verizon`s 3G network and also support Wi-Fi and include the feature of cut and paste function. Some other features would be built-in GPS, a media player and a landscape mode for viewing web pages horizontally and type e-mails in the horizontal mode. The screen is of almost the same size and resolution of the iPhone, whereas the camera is 3.2 megapixels as compared with that of the iPhone which is 2.0 megapixels. It has a unique feature of recording a video which is not possible in the iPhone.
