There are many times when one needs to transfer a domain name. There may be many reasons for the transferring the domain to another registrar, hence it becomes necessary to know the procedure of transferring it.
Basically, a domain name transfer is the process of transition of the name one has registered with one registrar to another registrar. In short, it is a transition from one domain name service provider to other.
The process of domain name transfer is simple. The new registrar needs to take the first move of transferring. One needs to get an account set-up with a new registrar and the WHOIS database for the domain. After the account has been set-up, one can see a “Transfer Domain” option. Once the option is selected as a background process an E-mail exchange takes place between the new registrar and the WHOIS database regarding the domain name. The process of domain name transfer cannot be possible unless a WHOIS administrator accepts it. Once the transfer is approved, the new registrar sends a notification to the Top Level Domain Registry (TLDR) for further approval.
It is necessary that the domain is active inorder to work. The domain
transfer fails if its locked, inactive or pending. Therefore it is recommended to transfer the domain before the date of expiry. The TLD registry reports the new registrar for the continuation of transfer only if the domain is active and is registered for more the sixty days. Now, the registry makes the old registrar aware of the transfer request been filed. Generally, within five days the registrar needs to respond to the TLD registry. If the old registrar fails to respond, then the registry by default assumes an approval. This also calls in the chances of domain name thefts, hence it is always recommended to sign-up with a registrar which offers domain locking features along with other feature of protecting the domain name. The registrar needs to inform the TLD registry about the approval of the transfer. The TLD registry takes the name of the old registrar then informs the new registrar and adds to their account.
With this the Domain Name transfer gets completed.
There are many web hosting service providers that offer domain name registration under their registry. They have people to walk you through the process. This helps in avoiding any kind of mess up during the transfer process.

web marketers that quality backlinks means the back linking from the websites having higher page ranks. There might be occasions where a website with a Page Rank 3 proves to be more beneficial than having a backlink from a similar kind of web site that has Page Rank 5. The search engines are good at identifying any unnatural pattern in the back links of the website. One should bear in mind that Page Rank is no where related to Trust Rank (according to me).
4. Optimization of the History Of the Domain: Not completely sure but I believe that the search engines stores the optimization history of every domain for the purpose of deciding the Trust Rank of a website.

The fact is that unless you have plenty of time to spend in research and keeping yourself up to date with the latest trends, you will have to spend a bit of money with either strategy. Even if you get an expert to handle this for you, it will still take a bit of research and trial before you can decide which way to go with your business and whether to combine the two strategies.
